Today, we’re asking our community to come together for someone who has spent years helping others.
Many of you know Bill Skomski as the owner of Antietam Brewery. What many people don’t see is the countless hours, donations, fundraisers, and acts of kindness he has given to this community over the years. Bill has always been the first person willing to help someone in need, often putting others before himself.
Right now, Bill is facing one of the biggest battles of his life.
After a recent cardiology appointment, doctors discovered that Bill has three major blockages that are approximately 96% blocked. His condition is extremely serious, and he is considered very high risk. He will be undergoing triple bypass surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in the coming days.
As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult and emotional time for Bill, his family, and everyone who cares about him.
To help ease the financial burden of surgery, recovery, and the extensive medical bills ahead, we have started a GoFundMe on Bill’s behalf. If you are able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it would be greatly appreciated.
