Do you like beer, learning about Civil War medicine, and supporting the National Museum of Civil War Medicine? On Saturday February 20 at Antietam Brewery you can do all three!
From 2:30 to 8:00 PM Museum staff will be at the Brewery with reproduction medical kits, drinking stories from the Civil War and a small store with shirts, pint glasses, and more. A portion of the day’s proceeds will go to support the National Museum of Civil War Medicine. Where else can you learn some history, have great beer, and benefit a local nonprofit at the same time? Indoor and outdoor seating is available at the Brewery.
Antietam Brewery will also have a special beer on tap exclusively for the event – Double Canister IPA (8.5% ABV). Brewed for the Museum by Antietam Brewery, Double Canister is only for sale in cans at the Museum. Packaged in 16oz cans and sold in 4-packs, Double Canister IPA is a smooth and extremely drinkable Double IPA. It features a nice blend of citrus and pine flavors which goes down nice after a long march. Regular pricing is $12.99 per 4-pack and $75 per case.
