Join us for our October Open Airplane Afternoon, Cruise In & Fly In 2020
Sunday, October 4th 11am to 4pm

You are invited to bring your show car, truck, military vehicle, motorcycle, etc to the cruise in. $5 donation per vehicle! All proceeds go directly towards the Hagerstown Aviation Museum. Please arrive by 10am for the cruise-in.

Bring the family to the museum’s Open Airplane Afternoon at the Hagerstown Regional Airport and walk through the museum’s Fairchild C-82 and C-119 Flying Boxcars. New addition: See the museum’s 1956 Fairchild C-123K Provider. The C-123 arrived at the Hagerstown Regional Airport by truck in December and has now been reassembled for the public to walk through. See other museum aircraft such as the 1919 Bellanca CE, 1928 Kreider Reisner KR-31 biplane, Fairchild 22, 24 and PT-26. All of these aircraft were built in Hagerstown!

You are invited to relive history with an open cockpit flight experience in the museum’s 1943 Fairchild PT-19 WWII Trainer. Flights are available for a $150 donation. PT-19 flights start at 10am. Sign up at the museum gift shop trailer or call for more info.

We will also have Whistle Punk Farm Food Truck cooking throughout the event and Antietam Brewery Western Maryland Pkwy pouring some suds!

See airport activity up-close; with planes taking off and landing. FREE admission/donations appreciated. Museum merchandise, books, toys, DVDs, hats and T-shirts for sale.
